LISD
ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB
It is the mission of the Lexington ISD Athletic Booster
Club to support all extracurricular athletic activities through parent
involvement and fund-raising activities. One of the major objectives is to
create an environment where parents feel welcome at school activities. By having
an organization that provides a basis of support for parents, it is felt that
they will become more involved in the school and their student activities. In
addition to involving parents, the booster club needs to foster community
support for LISD Athletes. Any activity where the surrounding businesses and
neighbors can be involved will be promoted. Fund raising activities will be
conducted to assist in the supporting of student athletes and athletic
activities. All monies raised will be used to promote student athletic
sportsmanship, achievement, and to assist the athletic coaching staff to pursue
excellence.
